All Services



  • BATHING

    We offer bathing for all pets Monday through Friday. Medicated baths are also available upon request and our veterinarians are available for consultations when dealing with skin conditions.  Baths costs include nail trimming and ear cleaning.  Baths must be checked in to the hospital between 7 am and 10 am Monday-Friday, along with proof of current vaccinations.


  • RABBITS, FERRETS AND SMALL MAMMALS

    Veterinary medicine for exotic pets is growing as the popularity of these animals increase. With better public education in health, nutritional and environmental management, all species have a greater chance for living longer and healthier lives. We employ staff veterinarians who possess experience in the care and treatments of exotics; such as rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs and small rodents. 

  • BOARDING

    Pets are like our children –Our hospital offers veterinarian-supervised boarding for your pet when you are out of town. Our staff takes great strides to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away.  To make sure all pets have an enjoyable and healthy experience during their stay, all boarders are recorded twice daily for eating, drinking, urinating and defecating; this helps us monitor the health of your pets.

    q       ALL PETS MUST HAVE BEEN EXAMINED WITHIN 1 YEAR.

     

    q       PETS 12 YEARS OR OLDER MUST HAVE BEEN EXAMINED WITHIN 6 MONTHS AND HAVE A GERIATRIC BLOOD TEST WITHIN 1 YEAR

     

    ***ANY PET BOARDING MUST BE CURRENT ON ALL VACCINATIONS AND  ANNUAL EXAM WITHIN A YEAR. VACCINATIONS HAVE BEEN GIVEN BY A LICENSED VETERINARIAN.


  • DENTAL CARE

    Regular professional dental cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use a modern and safe ultrasonic scaler to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Technicians, monitored by a veterinarian, scale and polish the teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque build-up.

     


  • EMERGENCY AND CRITICAL CARE

    In any emergency,  every second counts. Our experienced staff is backed up by our emergency resuscitation unit, stocked and equipped to administer the ABCs of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions. Emergency care is offered during regular business hours. In addition, we use the services of a local, fully staffed emergency center.

  • FULLY STOCKED PHARMACY

    We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field.

  • HOSPICE/EUTHANASIA SERVICES

    Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client.  These services can include the option to have ashes returned to you in a beautiful urn.


  • IMMUNIZATION AND WELLNESS CARE

    We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program's; spay and neuter package's; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

  • INTERNAL MEDICINE

    We cover all areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology; Ophthalmology; Neurology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Oncology; Endocrinology; among others.

  • LASER SURGERY

    Lasers are a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery. Lasers replace scalpels in many procedures, and are useful for a wide range of conditions, such as cyst's, tumor's, and wart removal, and can even be used in declawing. Laser procedures result in less pain; less bleeding and less swelling. They reduce risk of infection and result in less post-operative discomfort for your pet.

  • MICROCHIPPING

    Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families.   • RADIOLOGY

    Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.

  • SPECIALISTS

    Sometimes conditions arise that require veterinarians with specialized training.  If needed we can request specialists such as cardiologists, radiologists, and neurologists.

  • SPECIALIZED SURGERY

    Our veterinarians are able to perform a wide veriety of surgical procedures, including many orthopedic, soft tissue, oncology and ophthalmic procedures.

  • SURGERY

    We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include:  fully trained veterinary and technical staff, to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet; heated surgery tables for greater comfort; advanced sterilization techniques; ECG and oxygen saturation monitors; intensive after surgery care and full blood testing.

  • SPAY and NEUTERING

    We provide spaying and neutering to cats, dogs, rabbits and other small mammals during our weekday hours.  We provide the best care possible at the lowest possible price.  We also offer the choice of using our advanced CO2 laser, as opposed  to the scapel blade, during the spay or neutering procedure.  We ask that all patients be around 6 months of age or older. All animals must be current on all vaccines and provide proof that the vaccinations were given by a licensed veterinarian.  Drop off's for spaying and neutering are between the hours of 7 am and 9:30 am Monday through Friday; food must be taken away by 10 pm the night before the procedure.  Drop off's are welcome; this means No appointment is needed for spaying or neutering.  If you have any questions concerning the procedure please feel free to call us.


  • ULTRASOUND

    This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available.  On request we can ask a local ultrasound speciliast to visit the hospital to help diagnose medical conditions.
